ADAS’ planning team have extensive experience representing developers and Local Planning Authorities at appeal in both England and Wales. Our planning consultants deliver successful appeal outcomes and can advise on the best approach to defend your appeal.
Planning appeals can be heard in one of three ways:
Written Representations: The appeal is determined by written evidence from the appellant and the LPA, usually with an accompanied site visit. We can coordinate this process for you, write your Statement of Case, respond to the case made by the other side in Final Comments and accompany the Inspector on the site visit.
Hearing: Written statements are followed by an informal Hearing, chaired by a Planning Inspector. We can coordinate this process for you, write written submissions, coordinate specialists and attend the Hearing on your behalf.
Public Inquiry: Written statements are followed by a formal Public Inquiry. We can assist in preparation of written evidence and provide Expert Witnesses to represent you. We can provide experts in numerous other disciplines, please see our Expert Witness page for further information.
We have worked on some of the most challenging types of appeal, from wind turbines to industrial units and housing.
