ADAS conduct bespoke applied research and consultancy services to improve carbon and resource use efficiency which enhance business performance and resilience throughout the supply chain.
Our team of experts have extensive experience in carbon and resource management. We were key partners in the development of the PAS2050 ‘Carbon Footprint’ standard which measures the environmental impact of your organisation’s activities, products and services. We continue to develop the methodology and applications of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and lifecycle analysis techniques including the Agricultural and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) Resource Use Efficiency Calculator.
With support from our scientists, modellers and researchers we work with Government, levy bodies, retailers, processors, farmers and other members of the supply chain to meet statutory and voluntary carbon reduction requirements, improve carbon and resource performance and efficiency and save costs.
ADAS conducts applied research for Government and levy boards on climate change mitigation and resource use efficiency and are well placed to understand the issues throughout the supply chain and identify solutions.
We also work with our clients to deliver sustainability programmes, engaging with them to drive best practice and increase efficiency of production. We work with company’s existing sustainability programmes or co-ordinate and manage the development of programmes in the UK and globally.
