Leaving the EU: Researching the impact on the pesticide supply chain

Pesticides are important for the UK agricultural industry as a tool for the control of weeds, diseases and pests. They include herbicides, fungicides, molluscicides, insecticides and plant growth regulators. However, most current legislation relating to pesticide approval and use is set at EU level so the UK is considering how national legislation will operate post-EU Exit.

Our research considered the impact of both a deal and a no-deal scenario. Dr Carla Turner explains more in our video below.
