We are looking for applications from outstanding individuals who can apply their skills using computer programming, mathematics and statistics to the development of novel and innovative approaches for tackling environmental policy questions or land management decision making.
This is a great opportunity for modellers who would be keen to get involved in the whole project lifecycle from developing proposals in collaboration with colleagues through to delivering a tool or specific advice for a client. The role would also suit individuals who are keen to develop business opportunities in their specialist technical area to expand the breadth of the environmental modelling offer within ADAS.
We are interested in hearing from you if you;
- Have experience of developing and coding models, using frameworks such as R and .NET, and supporting statistical / database / GIS tools
- Have the capability to organise and analyse large, complex datasets
- Have the capability to write client reports, scientific papers and contributions to tenders that are clear, logical and persuasive
